Nursery Fees

The Fees are £13.50 per session (£4.50 per hour) for children who are not elegible for the grant. The cost of Lunchtime care is £4.50 Fees will be invoiced at the beginning of the month and due for payment by the 15th of each month. Payment can be made by cash, cheques (made payable to First Friends Nursery) or bank transfer. Put the payment in the envelope provided and hand it to a member of Nursery staff. Failure to settle fees in full, by the end of the month in which they are due, will result in a Late Payment Fee of £5 per week being applied. Failure to settle in full including any Late Payment Fees, within 4 weeks of the first Late Payment Fee being applied, will result in the loss of your child’s place and instigation of legal proceedings.

Please note that fees still apply during periods of absence such as illness or holidays. In cases of long term sickness special arrangements can be made appropriate to the circumstances at the discretion of the Charity’s Trustees. If you have any difficulties paying fees please contact the Trustees as soon as possible.

Children receive the Nursery Education Grant the term after they are 3 years old. All children are entitled to five 3 hour (15 hours) sessions per week, or up to ten 3 hour sessions per week (30 hours) if eligible and should be applied for by the parents.. To use your Grant at First Friends you will need to fill in the Grant declaration forms and show us a copy of your child’s birth certificate.

One month’s notice has to be given in writing to the Nursery if you wish to decrease the session’s your child attends or if you wish to discontinue your child’s attendance at First Friends.
